Thank you for inviting me to the launch today.
I am the person who wrote the music as the backdrop to the movie.
I felt so proud to have donated my time to the cause for these gorgeous young women who take such huge risks in leaving their home and families to study O.S.
What courage and determination it would take.
Thank you for sharing your time and you thoughts with the public.
Sincerly,
Chris Tammer

Kavi Bajee
Great experience..for me, being a participant..
it was great success for the whole team and we could successfully convey our message to everyone about what are our feelings about Melbourne and people here. it was all by heart, nothing was fake.
Great work by Riza, Celia, Julia and Chris…
i wish all the best to all of them for a successful journey of this video..
Pleasure to be a part,,
cheers,
Raman Bhullar
I thoroughly enjoyed the video as the girls’ comments are so reflective of life in Australia: at times funny, at times sad, at times disappointing but other times exhilarating.
Keep up the wonderful work!
I saw the video several days ago at the State Library and I really love it. As a male international student, I can relate to some of the issues, such as the Australian slangs. But it was really impressing and humbling to see many female international students facing more and harder adversities than me.
was an eye opening experience.
cheers,
Napon
i saw this video and i enjoyed very much. its great success of the whole team of VIRWC.in this video the girls express their experience in Australia. for this video which international women is not aware they can aware and they can know about their rights.
I think the video is really good, and also a good way to express the feelings and the problems of female international students in front of common people are not aware from the difficulties faced by these students.
keep it up,
Navdeep
I was involved in this project during the editing stages along with assisting Riza Manalo during the interviews with the students and it was great to see the wonderful raport they had with each other during and after the project.
It’s important that International students both female and male take time to understand how Australia functions with its life style, language and particular the laws so if ever in need of assistance they know where to locate the support networks.
Also take time to speak to locals as so many would be more than happy to assist. Students bring so much diversity here in many respects and this along with other migrants is what makes this country so rich.
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and feelings and reminding me a native how easy I have it in Australia.
Interesting project. Besides the public viewings, where else can I view the documentary?
