Female international students tell stories in a video documentary
”Lost in Transition, Mate!” was very well received, followed by great comments from local and international students, education institutes and other organisations.
The video was screened in many different places, including a presentation in Sydney and at the La Trobe Refugee Research Centre Postgraduate Seminar. Increasingly, other states and territories are noticing the availability of this piece of work, which is really the first of its kind in Australia in so far as female international students are concerned.
The video boxes are a total success, being looped every couple of months to different locations around Melbourne. Please visit this website for location updates.
And as requested by many, VIRWC is also planning to sell copies of the “Lost in Transition, Mate!”. If you are interested please contact VIRWC on 03 9654 1243 or email virwc@virwc.org.au
